This distinguished gentleman, our 10-year-old sweetheart, has crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and gentle companionship.

Bernard truly was a professional couch warmer, holding an honorary PhD in Lounging and a well-earned Master’s in Snuggling. His ten years as “the best boy” were marked by an unparalleled expertise in napping, an uncanny ability to elicit the most heartfelt cuddles, and the undeniable power of his puppy-dog eyes.

While Bernard preferred the company of mature humans for his daily dose of love and relaxation, his compatibility with other dogs made him a wonderful friend to many. His favorite pastime of binge-watching TV shows with his people brought him immense joy, and his secret talent for bringing smiles, even on difficult days, will be deeply missed.

Bernard lived by the wise motto, “Why stand when you can sit? Why sit when you can lie down?” He brought a unique brand of peaceful presence to every room he entered.
