This sweet soul, an 18-year-old Akita mix, came to Mikaela’s Mutt Motel after finding himself at the shelter, and in his time with us, he was nothing short of spoiled, loved, and cherished.

Knowing his remaining time might be limited due to multiple health issues, we were committed to making every moment count for Billy. He received endless affection, gentle care, and all the comforts a senior gentleman deserved.

Though his stay with us was as a hospice foster, the love and joy Billy brought into our lives were immense. He reminded us of the preciousness of every life and the profound impact we can have by offering comfort and kindness.
