It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Buddy’s passing.

Buddy found his way to Mikaela’s Mutt Motel after his previous family made the decision to surrender him at the age of 15.

We were so incredibly fortunate when Lori opened her heart and home to Buddy as a foster. He was initially confused after spending all of his years in the same home, but he quickly settled in and became deeply loved. Lori’s bond with Buddy was so profound that she decided he would stay right where he was, making her home his forever foster home.

While we knew our time with Buddy, at 15 years old, might be limited, we are eternally grateful for the immense love and comfort he received in his final chapter. Buddy was cherished beyond measure, and his gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
