General Information
Owner Surrenders
We are not currently accepting Owner Surrenders. Please consider spay/neuter and training to address behavioral reasons for surrender. Alternatively, consider a suitable friend or family member to keep your dog so they remain in familiar company. As a last resort, contact your local Animal Control Agency for guidance or to surrender your dog.
It is a crime to dump/abandon your dog anywhere in the states of Tennessee and Kentucky. In addition to being illegal, it is immoral, inhumane, and reprehensible. If we have knowledge of dog dumping we will pursue a resolution to the fullest extent we are able.
Phone
You are welcomed to call us but please note: Mikaela herself carries the phone and she stays extremely busy with the operation and management of Mikaela’s Mutt Motel. If your call is unanswered you must leave a voicemail or listen to the options for alternate contact methods and utilize one of those methods. If you do not leave a message or utilize alternate contact methods your inquiry will remain unaddressed.
