We’re sharing, with very heavy hearts, that our sweet Rosie has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She was a fighter until the very end. When we first met her, she was a stray named Dutchess with a massive mammary tumor, left to wander the streets. We made a promise to her that we’d do everything we could to give her a chance at a real life.

After multiple surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy for her malignant tumors, Rosie found her perfect person in Sarah. Sarah, a breast cancer survivor, was her long-term foster and gave Rosie the love and care she had been missing. It was a beautiful, tender friendship built on mutual understanding.

Rosie got to go to the beach, feel the sand between her paws, and know what it was like to be part of a true family. We could not have given Rosie her final months of happiness without the incredible generosity of our community and amazing fosters like Sarah. We will miss you forever, sweet Rosie.
