We’re heartbroken that sweet Miss Gladys, a Great Dane, crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 3:28 on 2/5/25. Despite our hopes and efforts, she succumbed to her condition shortly after being rescued.

Gladys was a victim of severe neglect. In her final hours, surrounded by love and care, we like to think she finally felt safe enough to let go. Her time with us was brief, but she left a lasting mark on our hearts and in the hearts of our dedicated volunteers.

We ask that you hug your own mutts a little tighter tonight in her memory.
