Our Chief Grants Officer was forced to say an untimely goodbye to her sweet Husky, Khali, on August 20^th. Khali succumbed to immune mediated hemolytic anemia within a few short hours.

Our beloved Khali, a gentle and kind-hearted Husky mix whose presence in our lives was marked by her gentle demeanor and affectionate nature, making her an integral part of our family.

Khali’s love for food was only matched by her love for cuddles, often preferring the comfort of a soft spot to rest over vigorous play. Her relaxed disposition brought a calming presence to our home, and her loyalty was unwavering, always by our side during moments of joy and sorrow.

Shedding her fluffy coat everywhere she went, Khali’s warmth and companionship were a constant source of comfort. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was lounging in the sun or sharing quiet moments with her loved ones.

Khali, you were more than just a pet; you were a cherished member of our family. Your gentle soul and loving spirit touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you. As we bid farewell, we hold onto the memories of your tender moments and the love you shared so freely.
