Koro is a beautiful, smart, happy boy. He is super friendly and loves all dogs and people. He plays extremely well with other dogs and could do so for hours. He has done well around cats and children too.

His energy is very playful and happy. He loves the outdoors and enjoys when we go hiking, walking or trailing. He enjoys being in your company. He does excellent in the kennel while we’re at work. He keeps it clean and does not have any accidents nor does he fight to go in. He sleeps peacefully and quietly throughout the night in his kennel.

He does fine loose in the house as well when we are home. He is not food aggressive and takes treats gently and well in the presence of other dogs. He is a good eater and always finishes his meals. He loves and can be entertained by Kongs, Toppls, lick mats, and chew treats. He loves car rides, so traveling is not an issue.

He knows basic commands and we are constantly learning new tricks. He is very smart and learns quickly! He enjoys training sessions! His love language is food and verbal praise. He loves playing fetch and is the fastest ball herder I’ve ever seen. He enjoys running in the yard and thoroughly enjoys playing in the water. At the end of the night, he will curl up on the couch next to you with a chew toy and happily watch TV.

Wanna know a secret? Koro is a quiet boy. He doesn’t bark much AT ALL. He prefers to observe and take everything in. If he does bark, he’s trying to get your attention, call your attention to something, or wants something.

The only thing we are still working on is his leash walking. He does well, but still pulls every now and then. This is something we are constantly working with him on using various strategies before, during, and after walks every day and we find that giving treats throughout his walk and verbal correction are really helpful to keep him focused. We are really adamant about tiring and challenging him out not only physically but also mentally. Therefore, we also do puzzles and problem-solving exercises.

He has so much love, loyalty, and life to give his new family and he is more than ready to be begin his new life! He is UTD on vaccines and preventatives and is neutered!
