At the age of 14, Mochi found herself unexpectedly at the shelter after being abandoned outside the apartment building she once called home. Thankfully, her journey led her to the compassionate care of Mikaela’s Mutt Motel.

Through the embrace of our Soul Dog Suites program, Mochi was given the precious gift of a loving final chapter. She spent her remaining time being utterly spoiled alongside her foster siblings, experiencing the warmth and comfort she so deserved.

Mochi’s greatest joy in those final weeks was undoubtedly snuggling on the couch with her devoted foster mom, Sam. In those quiet moments of connection, she found peace and the unwavering affection that had been missing.

Mochi’s story, though starting with hardship, blossomed into one filled with gentle care and love. We are so grateful that our Soul Dog Suites program could provide her with a soft landing and a loving environment in her twilight years.
