Nikey was ADOPTED!

A brown chihuahua named Nikey

Nikey is a 7-year-old Chihuahua who was turned into animal control as a stray.

He seems to be house-trained with potty pads, and he is crate-trained. Nikey is a small boy who just wants a soft couch to cuddle on. He currently weighs about 7 pounds!

Nikey will be neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention prior to adoption.

Notes from Nikey’s foster mom: Nikey was taken to animal control as a stray, only to find out later that his owner had moved away and abandoned him. He’s a submissive and somewhat uncertain dog who often feels anxious. Due to his small size, it’s crucial for his safety to be leashed and he should never be left outside unattended.

Nikey sustained a wound on his back, possibly from being trapped underneath something, but it’s healing well. I considered adopting him, but my cats disapprove of the idea. He’s good with cats, showing no aggression, and he also gets along with my small dog. As he’s reluctant to go outside, I’m training him to use pee pads. Nikey has stunning brown eyes that complement his coat. He enjoys gathering toys and has a prancing gait. He’s incredibly sweet. I adore him and want nothing but the best for him.
