Rooster, a canine of questionable heritage (rumor has it his great-great-grandfather was a rooster reincarnated), is a feathered package of love. He’s also a big boy who knows how to push people around to get his way—kind of like a real rooster does!

Because of this, Rooster needs a very experienced handler who is willing to work with him daily to establish boundaries and consistent training.

Rooster is looking for a forever home with someone who appreciates his unique blend of rooster-dog and is ready for the commitment of his training.

Ideally, this person will enjoy a good game of fetch and be committed to providing him with daily physical and mental exercise. Rooster is not your average dog. He’s a four-legged friend with a personality as vibrant as his (imagined) plumage.

If you’re ready for a canine companion who will keep you entertained (and maybe a little bit bewildered) and are prepared to dedicate time to his continued training, then Rooster might just be the feathered friend you’ve been waiting for.
