Meet Rufus aka Roofy Poofy!
I have been asked to write about myself in hopes of finding the PAWfect FURmily for me! I am a very laid-back gentleman. I enjoy quiet spaces and scratches on my boom boom and belly. I really like curling up on my foster mom’s lap but I don’t seem to fits so I can’ sits. I enjoy snuggle parties and car rides. I really love everyone I meet. I even like cats! I don’t know if they like me too much because of my size, but hey! I can’t help it.
I have a foster brother and sister and we all get along great! I do well on a leash and walk perfectly. I am a little afraid of cars that swoosh by but I am getting better. I am very food motivated (but then again who isn’t). My mom calls me a chonky chonk. Is that a type of dog? Oh! And don’t worry about the potty with me. I know how to use the doggy door, so I can go all by myself. I also love naps. When it’s night night time I either sleep with my mom or on the couch.
I have also voluntarily taken on a new position: Security Gawrd of the Porcelain Throne. You never know when danger could appear! All in all, I’m a big pile of love and will be your best FURend FURever and ever; pinky promise. Will you make some space for me in your heart (and on your couch)? Rufus is a 7-year-old Lab mix who checked into Mikaela’s Mutt Motel after he was found as a stray and never claimed.
Rufus is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up-to-date on vaccinations, Heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention!
Rufus has done well with other dogs and cats! He has also done well with respectful children, and he weighs about 130 pounds.
